The WebbRadio.com
"PICTURE WALL"
Over the past 7 1/2 years WebbRadio.com has been involved
in streaming audio (and video content)
across the Internet. We choose "Smooth R&B and Classic Soul" music as the
genre' to use to attract
the listening audience, and it is a brand of music that we are rooted deeply in,
and had the ability to make
... a valid presentation. We wanted to accomplish
something with this relatively new broadcasting medium,
Internet web casting, that we felt our culture needed to have on OUR side, "A
Global Broadcast Medium"
that would give a "means of expression", and a "VOICE"! Something that is
not afforded us with conventional
broadcast mediums, totally. In September, 1999 we began our "LIVE!
InterActive Internet Radio and Chat"
format here at WebbRadio.com, and found a measure of success, and an awful lot
of friends. These frames on this
page are the "LISTENERS", some of the people who, over the past years have
enjoyed what we were doing here
... at WebbRadio.com. They come from various "ONLINE
COMMUNITIES", BlackPlanet.com, Yahoo.com, BET.com
BlackVoices.com and AOL.com. And like the more than 500,000 people who
have clicked on the WebbRadio.com
stream, they have enjoyed what we do here. There is so much more ... and
this will continue .....
