Ibn Rasheed Jones was born in Culver City, California on February 8, 1980. He
graduated from Westchester High School and continued his education at
Youth Build were he learned the trade of refurbishing homes. 
He was married to the love of his life, Roxanne Bacon on June 8, 2002.  To this
union 3 children were born, and also a stepchild which he raised which made 4
children.  Later on in life he would add another child outside this union. Ibn was
a good husband and a devoted father. He loved his family with all of his heart!  
He worked for Progressive Suspension as a forklift operator and received an award for
quality assurance.  He was an asset to his job. 

 

On July 8, 2008, Ibn was shot and killed by a deputy sheriff.  This case is under
investigation.  He leaves 5 children and a wife, a mother and father and 3 sisters
and a brother and a host of neices, nephews and cousins and a number of friends
to numerous to name.
